Founded by educator and behavior specialist Donandre “Dre” Orr, The D’Orr Effect was born out of personal experience, professional training, and a passion for reaching the overlooked and underserved.
From behavior coaching to reunification services, we focus on people, not problems. Our approach integrates mentorship, mental and emotional wellness, and structured guidance that leads to lasting change.

Meet Mr. Donandre “Dre” Orr
Mr. Donandre “Dre” Orr is more than a behavior specialist — he’s a mentor, coach, educator, and advocate who lives out the very mission he now teaches. As a former troubled youth who was nearly labeled a lost cause, Dre understands the power of someone believing in you. That “someone” for him was his uncle and a few educators who stepped in, saw his potential, and redirected his path.
Foundation: The D’Orr Foundation
Transforming Pain Into Purpose
The D’Orr Foundation is the nonprofit arm of The D’Orr Effect, dedicated to uplifting youth, families, and communities through accessible programs, outreach, and intentional mentorship. Born from Mr. Orr’s own life experiences and fueled by over a decade of service in behavioral health and education, the Foundation provides critical services to underserved populations. Our work extends beyond classrooms — we show up in homes, courtrooms, after-school programs, churches, and communities.
Helen Marie Orr Memorial Scholarship
A Scholarship Rooted in Legacy and Love
The Helen Marie Orr Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the strength, faith, and nurturing spirit of Dre Orr’s late mother. A single mother who raised her children with resilience and grace, Helen Marie Orr instilled in her son the values of compassion, faith, perseverance, and education.
